Through JReady, she trains individuals and teams on recovering from a crisis event when trauma occurs in the community. As one of JReady's leading trainers in emotional first aid, resiliency, acute stress management, and interventions, she brings a vast international experience and a deep understanding of Jewish and non-Jewish communities throughout the world.

Tzivy Reiter

Director, Children and National Trauma Services, Ohel

Tzivy directs Outpatient Mental Health, School-Based and Trauma services, and oversees implementation of evidence-based practice models across programs. Tzivy is a specialist in trauma and disaster mental health, having run Crisis Counseling Programs after 9/11 and Hurricane Sandy. She has intervened in local and national disasters: floods, wildfires, and mass shootings. She has led Ohel’s pivot to tele mental health treatment, response to Covid and virtual psycho educational sessions that attracted tens of thousands of participants throughout the pandemic. She co-created a resilience workbook used by 10,000 children during the pandemic and was named a mental health hero during Covid by the NYC Mayor’s Office of Community Mental Health. Tzivy recently co-authored a book for preschool children, I Feel That Way and That's Okay!, and an accompanying Teacher’s Guide. She is bringing these resilience building resources to new communities under Ohel’s recently established Kestenbaum Family International Services for Children. Tzivy is a licensed clinical social worker and a graduate of New York University.

Einat is the Head of the Psychotrauma Crisis and Response Unit at United Hatzala, she is a professional counselor and offers training for organizations, professionals, and aid missions.

Talya Levanon

CEO Israel Trauma Coalition

Ms. Levanon directs all of ITC’s initiatives by building collaborative partnerships that form the foundation of sustainable support for trauma victims both in Israel and abroad.

Beginning her career in the IDF as an officer working with bereaved families and wounded soldiers, she then supervised social workers in private practice and worked in the Israeli National Insurance Institute for Treatment and Rehabilitation of Trauma Widows and Widowers.

Talia holds an MSW in clinical social work from Bar Ilan University in addition to a degree in Integrative Psychotherapy from Hebrew University. She is fluent in English, French and Hebrew.
