International Jewish Association of Trauma Therapists

A Global Professional Network for Jewish Trauma Therapists

The International Jewish Association of Trauma Therapists (IJATT) was established in 2026 in response to the growing need for international collaboration among Jewish mental health professionals following attacks targeting Jewish communities worldwide. Founded after the terrorist attack in Bondi Beach, Australia, IJATT brings together experienced trauma clinicians to strengthen professional preparedness, provide peer support, and advance excellence in trauma care across the global Jewish community.

Today, IJATT is an expanding international network of senior trauma consultants, psychologists, psychiatrists, psychoanalysts, researchers, and therapists from Israel, North America, Australia, South Africa, and beyond. The association is supported by leading Jewish mental health organizations and is guided by internationally recognized experts in trauma and clinical practice.

What IJATT Offers

As a member of IJATT, therapists become part of a trusted professional community dedicated to supporting both clinicians and the Jewish communities they serve.
